In November, China's electrolytic cobalt production was 5,360 tonnes, up 5.08% month-on-month and 108.56% year-on-year. From January to November, the accumulated production was 42,189 tonnes, with a 117.19% increase compared to the previous year.

In November, the growth rate of electrolytic cobalt production slowed down due to weak downstream demand for high-temperature alloys and magnetic materials and low stocking willingness. However, most smelters maintained normal delivery with high operating rates and full production as the year-end approached.

It's predicted that China's electrolytic cobalt production may be in the range of 5,300 - 5,400 tonnes in December. With potential year-end inventory accumulation demand, smelters' operating rates are expected to remain high to ensure normal deliveries, and the production is expected to increase slightly in December.
